·         It testifies the life for much elite in Baghdad and other major centers what were luxurious and oriented to delights.

·         Yes, it said that everyone had a rich and lavish life which in reality cannot be possible.

Summary-
·         This talks about lavish lives that some people had.
·         First Story- Talks about how a rich, beautiful home is like in that time and place by talking about gems, pearls, balconies, arches, curtains, canopies, silk, etc.
·         Second Story- Talks about a prince saying how he is so grand. He said he learned from the Qur’an, read all the books, studied poets, calligraphy, and he said he was very famous.
·         Third Story- Talks about a beautiful woman who had a veil with silk and gold with beautiful designs, gold braided shoes, long lashes, and black eyes.
·         Fourth Story- Talks about lavish fruits which a woman bought from the grocery for a guy. Apples, Omani peaches, Nile grown cucumbers, Egyptian lime, etc. were all included. It was a long list.
